A photograph to me is a way of preservation. It is something that most if not many people nowadays take for granted ever since it's been made more public. These photos are a summary of the works I did while I was in a summer photography class. I challenged myself to take photos of various different topics ranging from my daily routine to even representing someone else in unique and interesting ways. I hope these photos bring you the same emotion they brought me!

A photograph is a means of art which can be used to capture a moment, emotion, activity, object , or scenery. Photographs can be planned, spontaneous, have themes, and carry a narrative.
Personally, Natural Beauty and Abstractions are central themes I enjoy highlighting within my photography. As a natural introvert, I greatly prefer self-portraiture over interacting with another subject. This allows me to comfortably explore my creativity and vision.

With a camera in my hand and my eyes through a lens, I feel unstoppable. I believe an image is the capture of an immortal moment, and my goal is to always make my photographs a clear depiction of my perspective so as to hopefully not have viewers interpret it any way other than how I intended.

A photograph to me has a story behind it, and mine has just now started! In this workshop I got to photograph many aspects of my life, and expand my photography practice. My morning routine has helped me with hair and makeup, and I candidly photographed my neighborhood, seeing children and adults outside together. I photographed someone go through grief during a video game, and found myself through self-portraiture.
Not every photo is just a photo, they all have deeper meaning and connect in some way.
